Patron
Saints of the Domus!
Domus Rosa Mystica has many
patron saints that, from heaven, assist us in our daily
sanctification and works of the apostolate. Our main and most
beloved saint is our Blessed Mother, Maria Rosa Mystica. Along
with her, these brothers and sisters are our personal friends and,
just like any other member of the Domus, they play an integral part
within the life of our religious family, by virtue of our union with
them in the communion of saints.
Their feast days are a day of
celebration and rejoicing for the whole Domus. Mendicants, for
instance, begin their celebration at 3:00 am with the solemn
recitation of the Office of Readings prolonged with the Vigil Hour.
The whole Domus usually prepares for their celebration with a
preparatory novena and often has a special event attached to their
liturgical feast day.
