Oblate Missionaries of the Mystical Rose

The Oblate Missionaries are laity and clergy that share the spirit, charism and apostolate of the Mendicant Missionaries under specific commitments of life to God within the Domus. Although they live the particulars of their vocation (single life, family life, priestly life, etc.) they are real members of the Domus, who make specific promises to God of living the spirit of the vows and twelve pillars of the Mendicants and enjoy the spiritual benefits of the Domus Rosa Mystica community everywhere.

The Oblate Missionaries have four degrees of membership and formation similar to the Mendicants.  Although they have different requirements of membership that grow in intensity and number, the degrees don't necessarily reflect a path of growth in personal formation, and thus have no set duration.  For example, a mother of seven kids can always stay in the intercessors degree due to her personal reality at home and at the same time have a higher degree of personal holiness and formation than a man in the apostles degree.

Behold a brief overview of the degrees:

Degree Title Level of Commitment Related Charism Element of Domus Brief description
Intercessors  lowest  expiation Members become prayerful intercessors for the Domus and hardened heart sinners. No active apostolate required.
Warriors  intermediate  deliverance Members are trained to participate of certain apostolate areas of the Domus, particularly deliverance.
Apostles  advanced  conversion Members are trained to participate in all apostolates of the Domus, especially the Eucharistic missions, and to form new oblate communities and apostolates.
Expiatory  highest  expiation Members here are severely sick, terminally ill, or homebound and vow to unite with Christ all their daily sufferings for hardened heart sinners and all members of the Domus.

Behold a brief overview of the yearly commitments according to the degree (expiatory degree's commitment entails solely the great work of offering one's daily sufferings for hardened heart sinners and all members of the Domus):

The Oblate Missionaries are assembled and organized by cenacles: intimate "rooms" within the larger Domus that propitiate an intimate encounter with Christ and the spiritual source for the Oblates' mission.  Thus, cenacles are communities of Oblates who gather to share apostolate, spiritual formation, and fraternal love of the community.  The Oblates' cenacles are in communion with the Mendicant Missionaries, who assist in their foundation, formation, and apostolate.

If the Lord may be calling you to become a Domus Rosa Mystica oblate or to start a cenacle in your parish, diocese or city, do not hesitate to contact us.
