Charism of the Mendicant Missionaries

Our charism is the expiation, conversion, and deliverance of the hardened heart sinner, especially youth and young adults, priests, and religious. 

Recognizing ourselves as the first and worse sinners in need of conversion and deliverance, we offer our entire lives: actions, thoughts, and being, to God with a deep spirit of abnegation and penance in reparation of our sins and those of the whole world.

Thus, living in authentic fraternal community —schola amoris et maxima paenitenia (school of love and maximum penance)— we imitate Christ; poor, chaste, obedient, and expiatory in order to carry on the intense missionary apostolate of proclaiming the kingdom of God where there is more sin and great spiritual battle.

Our standards of life, from which all fruits of the mission and personal consecration emerge, are Jesus Christ Eucharist and Mary the Mystical Rose.  The angels and all the saints are our allies in battle and in the apostolate.
