Stages of Formation of the Mendicant Missionaries
In order to live the exigencies and loftiness of our
charism and
way
of life the Mendicant Missionaries have six stages of formation
and membership, which directly affect and manifest the fruits of
our apostolate.
The six stages of formation stem from the
theological application of the diverse degrees of the gifts and
offices of the Holy Spirit as exposed in the Pauline letters,
especially in Corinthians and Ephesians (1 Cor 2:6-16, 12:1-2,
8:1b-3, 9:24-27, 10:13, and Eph 6:1-13), to the three main elements
of the Domus’ charism—conversion, expiation, and
deliverance—and the twenty five patron saints of the Institute.
These degrees also correspond to ordinary nomenclature of other
religious houses in the universal Church, which is based on the
formation, requirements, and religious profession status of the
members.
