Help Us!
All
Eucharistic Mendicant Missionaries of the Mystical Rose live under
four vows: poverty, chastity, obedience and expiation. This
prohibits them from having any possessions and money but two
changes of clothing (habit). All the work and service they
perform for other is gratis, without pay. That's why the Mendicant
Missionaries (mendicant means beggars) depend on free will
donations that generous people give.

Take a
look at the different categories where you can help:
Sponsor the living
cost of a missionary
-
The
average living cost of a missionary per month (including rent,
home bills, food, and gas) is $400-$500. We have five missionaries in the Domus
and three penitential guests. You can choose to sponsor a
missionary by donating the total or partial average monthly
living cost. One time donations are gratefully welcomed.
Educate a missionary
-
The
missionaries study their philosophical and theological degrees
at Sacred Heart Major Seminary, Detroit. They also study a
specialization in the Theology of the Consecrated Life at
Christendom College, Front Royal, Virginia. The
current undergrad credit hour fee at the Seminary is $300 and $450 for grad students.
At Christendom, the summer specialization costs $1500 for
undergrad and $3000 for grad students. You can choose to
sponsor the educational costs of a missionary totally or
partially, regularly or as a one time contribution.
Sponsor the
international missions fund
